Cegid, today announces the official acquisition of Talentsoft, a key player in cloud-based talent management solutions. This joining of forces creates a new French champion and an undeniable European leader in the realm of cloud-based payroll and human resources management solutions.
Cegid announced its intent to acquire Talentsoft April 12, 2021. And today, the company is pleased to confirm that the purchase is now complete.
Ever since its founding 14 years ago, Talentsoft has consistently established itself as a European leader in Human Capital Management (HCM). Known for the deep expertise of its world-class team and its perennial focus on delivering exceptional user experiences, Talentsoft today provides over 2,200 customers in France and in 130 countries around the world with its full suite of cloud-based talent management solutions.
The acquisition of Talentsoft will enable Cegid to accelerate the expansion of its human resources capabilities—one of its five priority areas of growth—by offering a more complete range of innovative talent management solutions geared to the needs of small- to large businesses in Europe and all around the world.
Combining the two companies will create a new French Tech powerhouse, responsible for more than 600 million euros in annual turnover. But the synergies go well beyond that. The companies’ vision, brand strength, product portfolio performance, team expertise, culture of co-creation and entrepreneurship, and focus on cloud-based solutions (representing more than 80% of combined turnover) creates a powerful new opportunity to enter and conquer new markets.
Talentsoft’s three co-founders – Jean-Stéphane Arcis (CEO), Joël Bentolila (CTO), and Alexandre Pachulski (CPO) – along with the company’s management team and 600 employees officially join Cegid as of today.
